History Thirty-five million Hispanics, as a group, have had influence at the local level, due mainly to their strong community and family focus. As a result, that influence was represented by splintered local organizations, labor unions, social groups, ethnic and media organizations. HIPP is helping to connect-the-dots with other Hispanic organizations.
Hispanic Unification
HIPP links the diverse aspects and strengths of local Hispanic organizations into, a unified national powerhouse. Our unified strength allows us to execute the plans necessary to impact state and federal policy. HIPP develops and tracks advocacy positions on legislation that impacts our major issues. We testify when and where necessary to achieve our desired impact. We provide awareness of and educate our membership regarding potential legislation or policy that affects our community.
